I like to build my bracket around odds and spreads. Pinnacle has "Will they make the sweet 16" odds for most of the top seeded teams - granted, the limits are small, but I think this could be of interest to bracket builders looking to get some insight into second round potential lines...

So I ran some rough figures, largely centered around the kenpom numbers, and there were a few outliers from what the spreads are saying. Since I view spreads (largely) as gospel, I wanted to figure out where my model is off and open up some games for discussion. I don't follow college bball at...

Anything sticking out to anyone? I kinda like... "Will Blake Griffin (West) make his first Field Goal attempt? - Yes" I assume he's going to try and dunk it and encounter little in the way of defense. Currently -150 right now at bodog. Granted, he could miss the dunk.

Pinnacle seems to disagree with Bodog in regards to Joe Flacco's ability. Take a look at Total TD passes by Flacco as well as first TD pass (Flacco Vs. Ryan) Both prop markets are small, but I'm going to guess Pinnacle has a better sense of things.

If anyone jumped aboard the 6.5 teaser train this weekend, I'm sure you've got MIA in there as the last leg. I'm looking at going for a full game spread hedge on the pats for about 60% (EDIT - I mean 40%) of my amount at stake with this MIA tease Are there any better options out there?

So NCAA teasers are pretty crappy - even at totals in the low 40s, Pinnacle has a push prob on the 3 of about 6.5%, versus a 9+% for the NFL. Losing that 3% is pretty rough on a teaser. I noticed their push on the 7 was in line with the NFL though, and the only logic for lowering the 3 push...

Just put down one at Bodog based upon the following information: Bodog 7 point teasers are -130 The Saints are currently +1.5 / +100 at pinnacle The Ravens are currently -3.5 / -113 at pinnacle Based on my (rough) calculations, this seems like the best 2 team teaser for today's games...

Intuitively, one would think that crossing the 3 twice would be about the best thing you could do in an NFL teaser, even if you have to waste points crossing the 0. Yes, there is likely some "push decay" in crossing that second 3 (from +2.5 to +3.5), since we are farther from the true line...

Who likes 17% edges on sports with low limits? Aarau / Locarno over 3 +100 at Bodog (Today's other leagues in the soccer menu) I bet using a .1 kelly multiplier, after getting burned repeatedly on these leagues.
