Bodog puts their lines up on Monday. Who are we looking to hammer?

Latest news seems to have Carolina waivering on Cam Newton.

thanks, I was just checking bodog on friday. couldn't believe they weren' up

I'm going to take Julio Jones under 9.5

Here is what I have so far

Date placed:

2011 NFL Draft - What will Patrick Peterson's draft position be
All wagers have action.
(4518) Over vs. (4519) Under Over 6 (+110) Thu@8:00p

This one is something of a hedge with the 7th Prince Bet - I think the Niners go secondary regardless of who is available (Gabbert)

2011 NFL Draft - Who will be the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft
(4583) Julio Jones (WR Alabama) -125 Thu@8:00p

Dumb bet - see below

2011 NFL Draft - Who will be the 8th overall pick in the NFL Draft
(4574) Nick Fairley (DL Auburn) -125 Thu@8:00p

2011 NFL Draft - Who will be the 6th overall pick in the NFL Draft
(4564) Robert Quinn (DE North Carolina) +190 Thu@8:00p

2011 NFL Draft - Who will be the 7th overall pick in the NFL Draft
(4568) Prince Amukamara (CB Nebraska) +400 Thu@8:00p

oh man!!! :selfbash:

Also one of these bets seems off

AJ Green under 4.5 -155
AJ 4th pick overall -300

I went with under 4.5 - seems like an easier way to get the Bengals pick. Am I missing anything?

you can get Julio Jones over 9.5 at +125

why is picking him to be the exact 10th pick.... -125?

I'm going to take Julio Jones under 9.5

I guess you like him going to the Browns then? That's the only team I can see before Washington that might prioritize a WR - I just went by the nfl.com mocks

Ha. Whoops!

Just made that +125 bet as well - why not.

I actually heard alot on cleveland sports radio speculating that is exactly who wants him......

I just spent 4 days ago, and other than the Indians that is all they talk about on sports radio there

Adding:

2011 NFL Draft - What will Ryan Mallett's draft position be
(4530) Over vs. (4531) Under Under 39 (+150) Thu@8:00p

NFL Network's Mike Mayock predicts that Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett will be a first-round pick on Thursday.
"Because of his football ability and his football IQ, somebody is gonna reach up into the 20s and take him," Mayock said on Path to the Draft Monday. Mayock also mentioned coaches and personnel types around the league "pounding the table" for Mallett based on his on-field skills. Character concerns appear to be the only thing preventing Mallett from going top-ten.

2011 NFL Draft - What will Jake Locker's draft position be
(4526) Over vs. (4527) Under Over 23 (-140) Thu@8:00p

Seahawks at 25

sec -1.5 over big 12, at least from the numbers I saw run on a fantasy board, looks like a good prop

Adding:

2011 NFL Draft - Who will be the 5th overall pick in the NFL Draft
(4558) Patrick Peterson (DB LSU) +300 Mon@11:00p

Some strategy with the 7th pick.

Patrick Peterson Over 6.5 +110 X 2
Blaine Gabbert Picked 7th +280 (If 49ers trade the pick; they could also select him)
Prince Picked 7th +400

This seems to cover all the potential bases with this pick, and worse case would be winning 20 cents on 2 dollars risked on the very simple 2:1:1 ratio.

Converted to the Julio Jones at 6 pick for +115 X 2 to make up for the 10 and over 9.5 picks - seems like the browns are scared off by Robert Quinn's brain.
