Such a cynic.

:lmao:

I just read this about the money-making side of this:

According to Billboard, “Friday” has sold 37,000 copies — assuming most included iTunes’ 30% cut, that’s nearly $26,000 for Black and her label, Ark Music Factory. Per Digital Music News, the song’s massive YouTube plays — now over 39 million, or over 1000 times her track sales — have likely netted her another $14,000 or so. So congrats, Rebecca: You can afford freshman year in college! We suggest taking some music classes.

true. I'm a bit jaded and cynical

ever since my pop stardom dream died.

I was a body double for Joey Mcintyre in my teens.

I made enough money to pay for college. but it kinda messed with my head. I thought I had more talent than that little fuk. but no on cared.

in the mean time I lost alot of real life jr high and sr high experiences because I was on the road..... body doubling

I'm not a fan of the "industry"

don't even ask me about the time Jon and Jordan tried to gang bang me on the bus.

A mere 14 grand for 40 million views? That don't compute.

Jordan is not a homo. TAKE IT BACK.

I don't know. Here is another snippet on the topic from Rolling Stone magazine.

Forbes estimates that given the details of YouTube's revenue sharing program, Black and Ark have likely made at least $20,000 in advertising money from the video.

I read elsewhere that YouTube revenue sharing is $1 per 1000 views.
