I think the worst thing about getting older is problems with vision. It seems like it "LITERALLY" happened the day I turned 40. It's worse than aches and pains and a slowing metabolism imo. Having to constantly be looking around for a pair of reading glasses is annoying.
I hope I can use the frames from one of my millions of pairs of designer sunglasses for whatever prescription lenses I end up with. Some of them are pretty clearly only meant to be sunglasses, but a few of them look like they will work as all-purpose frames.
Ideally get the whole expense - optometrist visit + glasses - within my work benefits allotment.
