I'm just ogling Evan Rachel Wood at this point, then I read a recap to make sense of the stuff I wasn't paying attention to.

So I guess there is someone else inside of the Charlotte, driving her body around. Teddy or something? So they are building to a big reveal - which would be totally shruggy to me because I would barely remember what happened with whoever-it-is in season 2 anyway. So I won't get the significance of stuff.

And I guess there will be a big WWE showdown between Dolores and Maeve at the end. I'm a bit curious about that (but not curious enough).

My prediction: instead of one destroying the other, they will end up working together. Girl power!

Well, robot girl power.

Honestly guys, if you were a fan if The Karate Kid and haven’t seen Cobra Kai yet, it’s insanely worth the binge watch. Hits all the right marks
I really liked the first few episodes of the 1st season. Just seeing how those guys turned out, that was pretty well done

Sometimes we talk about shows we are watching, thinking someone here might be interested.

I honestly don't think a single person here will be interested in this but I'll say it anyway. I'm currently watching Fosse/Verdon (which was a 1 season mini-series on FX last year.)

It's interesting. I'm enjoying it. I had forgotten Bob Fosse beat Francis Ford Coppola for Best Director the year of The Godfather. (That was for Cabaret.)

What a dickhole though, Fosse.

Michelle Williams is always resplendent, incandescent, amazeballs.

So that's what I have to say about that.

When I think of all the great things Fosse directed over the years, Im not.

I just finished Fosse/Verdon. It was great. Highly recommend.

What a dickhole indeed.

It's weird. The general feeling conveyed about Sweet Charity is it was a flop. Maybe so in a way. Disappointing box office I guess. But it contains a couple of the most iconic scenes of my lifetime (if you're into that singin'/dancin' kinda thing.)

Hey Big Spender. The Aloof. Shit doesn't get much better than that.

High Maintenance

I think Blitty recommended this a while back

Finally watched S1 E1

It’s very clever. Some good lol’s. I think it could be just as good without the 15 straight seconds of full on gay porn, though. I suppose the same could be said about a lot of shows that show a lot of straight porn. 🤷‍♂️

Will watch another episode.

The Green Book

I was feeling pretty antsy last night around 9PM. Ready to start crawling up the walls. Wasn’t in the mood for a cocktail. Wasn’t in the mood to read.

This film was exactly what I needed. Great story, good enough acting (some unexpected laughs).

8.25 Trons

Blood Simple (1984) - Coen Bros' first effort. I'd been putting this off for years, not sure why, it was great. Hitchcock meets er, later Coen movies? :spinner: Young Frances McDormand was a total cutie.

8.3 Matty Rains

I love that show.

The true essence of NYC.

Great interview with Ben Sinclair on the Marc Maron podcast recently.

Reno is a little too homophobic if you know what I mean. :mattyrain:

I haven’t seen this film in forever.

Need some Netflix recommendations, not sure where to go next.
