Why do we even listen to these people’s opinions anymore? If 10 people with a MD in front of their name posted YouTube videos saying we should all go back to life as usual tomorrow, would anyone listen? Nope.

On the flip side, if 10 doctors said that we need to keep lockdown going until September because if we don’t, the virus will essentially hit 80% of the population, would you take that as something you’d strongly imagine happening? Probably not.

Guys, turn off the news for a week. Take time to chill. Find things to do in solitude. All this grandstanding and Nostradamus soothsayer bullshit by both sides is tiresome at best and cataclysmically anxiety injecting at worst.

For every grain of sense made, we have to sift through a ton of horseshit. I’d rather save my mask and gloves for more important tasks.

Meh, I know I’m rarely the voice of reason. I know their is a direct correlation with my anxiety and stress levels being the lowest they have been in quite some time and me not immersing myself in the news of the coronavirus.

I mean if you guys are happier watching this all unfold 24/7, then by all means continue. I highly doubt that the deluge of bullshit being spouted has made you happier and more at ease as this has gone on.
 
I just like to engage in $0.05 futurology, as an intellectual exercise. Gotta consume some news and opinion pieces for that. What the fuck else is there to do?

Deep clean one room of your house
Watch porn
Write something


Thats what I’m doing today. Not for everyone, but my eyes will not watch a second of the news.
 
I do all of that on a daily basis, minus the horses. And the deep clean.

Know it won't be anywhere close to where it will end but 39/40% Death Rate presently!
