Senco! Both our names are (allegedly) on the same Maker's Mark barrel! If you log in to your Maker's Mark account, they put up a fake pic of the plaque that's supposed to be on the actual barrel.

Jefferson's is a very mild bourbon. Far from bad but unremarkable.
 
cant remember the last time I drank whiskey or any liqour.
been sticking to beer lately... I'm able to fuction the next day with only minor problems if I just drink beer.
 
i found that i often had minor problems the next day even when i didn't drink, so i said fok it and just drink a couple of whatever i'm drinking. except for when i'm on vacation and not driving, in that case i can spread out 8-10 adult beverages, mix and match, throughout the day and never have any trouble.

I think I prefer the lower proof bourbons (80-90).

I like to be able to sip for a while without feeling bombed.

Maker's 46 impresses, but if I were ranking on value alone it would sit at #3 behind JDSB. Shit is $50 here, vs. $35-37 for regular MM. The nose is more alcohol-y, the body less round and sweet, and the finale leaves more oak char. It's still very close to regular MM and, well, it's up there with the stuff I like best.

Matty, what makes Wild Turkey 101 better than 80? (aside from being stronger) Never knew they had 80. Used to do shooters of 101 while driving around in high school.
 
Makers 46 is very tasty but pound for pound I like the original better.

The 94 proof put a hurting on me.
