My Dad drinks Canadian Whiskey. My Dad wouldn't know a good whiskey if it crashed through his roof.

Bought him a bottle of JD Single Barrel Christmas of 2011 and he said with a straight face that he didn't like it.

Some mighty fine stuff there.

It's a "maple whisky liqueur" (only 30% ABV). It's much better than that Tap 357 bullcrap. Excellent neat.

I finally bought a bottle of this - badass. Wow. Bourbony character, lots of warm caramel on the tongue.

Outstanding, especially for 28 bucks.

We still can't buy bourbon here so I have to discover the wide selection of Canadian Whisky that we have on offer.

This is quite good, cheap too. I think I prefer rye to regular Canadian Whisky (that has more corn in the mash).
