Service,I constantly see requests for people wanting handyman jobs done on FB.If I wasn’t scared of heights and wanted to return to the workforce I would clean gutters and do moss removal,could easily make 500 bucks a day.

In the US and Canada private equity is VERY focused on comoditizing home services.

Alcohol is government regulated in Canada,to get a privatized liquor store the licenses start around 1.5 million and you need to buy an existing business.

Not sure about distribution,I know private vineyards can sell their own product onsite ,not sure if they have to pay for that privilege

Small producers can sell direct because the LCBO/SAQ have a rather large minimum requirement for them to carry a brand.

Not sure about other provinces.

Yes,I was only talking about BC.I know Alberta liquor is completely different than us,much cheaper.I think Ontario is very similar to us,price wise

We bought Ontario wine from the farmer's market across the street this morning, it's quite good. They show the production #s on the back label:

7068 bottles is 5,301 liters, my favorite llm says that's 1,400 gallons, the average yield is of 3–5 tons of grapes per acre, about 150–165 gallons per ton, 4 tons × 160 gallons/ton = 640 gallons/acre, if using the lower yield (3 tons, 150 gallons/ton): 450 gallons per acre, 1,400 ÷ 450 ≈ 3.11 acres to produce 589 cases
