Rivière des Français is in Northern Ontario, about 45mins south of Sudbury. I'm currently in North Bay which is also quite French. Lots of QC laborers and engineers moved to ON at the beginning of the industrial revolution, and they settled down here.

I rode around the downtown lake in Sudbury earlier, was fine but the roads and paths are in horrible shape.

I just recon-ed the entire 100km loop by car. There's one corner I need to modify because of construction, we are a go otherwise. 🤘

Kamouraska

I'm in Kamouraska, the land of my maternal ancestors. My mom and brother and I booked an entire inn to ourselves. It's noice. The St. Lawrence River is actually saltwater up here.

Ah yes. I haven't done a triple digit ride this year yet. Hardly a tour though - takes about 4 hours at a semi-casual pace.

What is the longest you have gone?

I've done an imperial century (100mi/160kms) a few times. Ain't nothing to it as long as you fuel/hydrate properly.

The real endurance guys do double imperial centuries in one sitting. That's a different ballgame.
