And we should go back to slide rules too. God damn calculators.

Sitting in bed perhaps. Guy always seemed to be up early for a west coaster. Fully masked and gloved.

Went to a home depot today for a return and some supplies to finish my bathroom. I got there about as it opened and by the time I left 700am it was getting crazy busy.

Everyone masked but staying 6 ft apart seemed impossible.

Now the percentage of masked in stores is over 90 here. But nobody gives trouble to the unmasked. Seems like people mind their own business pretty well. And Colorado might have the only democrat governor in the country, who's not a total nutjob.

Remember the charts from NYC health site I posted earlier! First this one which I'm glad was saved to this thread! Only shows confirmed COVID deaths but specific with data!
Then you go to the new chart now and shows less detail about confirmed deaths!

Look at first chart and 11,047 deaths with Underlying Conditions1 out of 14,753 total confirmed deaths!
1Underlying illnesses include Diabetes, Lung Disease, Cancer, Immunodeficiency, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Asthma, Kidney Disease, GI/Liver Disease, and Obesity.
Only 94 deaths are confirmed with No Underlying Conditions while 3612 equaled the Underlying Conditions Unknown!

So factual stats show positively 99% of the deaths involved persons with an Underlying Condition! Okay if you want to disregard that %, let's go with 75% casualties were ones with Underlying Conditions! Either way we can say from the chart, the % is above 75 and below 99!

And younger age 18-44 Underlying Condition deaths accounted for 74% of age group total! For 45-64 the number is 84%! So maybe I have it wrong but hard to get around the argument that not only older people are susceptible to dying from COVID, but all age groups with an Underlying Condition are HIGH RISK!

So was the NYC health site told not to be as specific with the new chart format? If so did those people not desire COVID to have the perception of being just a very BAD flu? A flu with an added DEADLY twist involving Underlying Conditions! :dunno:

Great minds think alike!

I’ve been returning my ‘rental’ tools to Home Depot A LOT as well.

:highfive:

CDC changes guidance. Spread is "not likely" from contaminated surfaces. So i guess its really just mask up and let's open this bitch up.

:dunno: that's the exact opposite from what they were saying before.
This guy says infections dropped sharply recently for no apparent reason. Might be just dying out. Also says, what I find interesting, immunity often exists with no presence of antibodies. Body can just get rid of it in other ways,, especially in children. That of course would be good news, as it would mean there could be much wider immunity than we realized

Sounds like these guys, Fauci, Gottlieb, whoever, that have been pushing 18 months of lockdown, are changing their tune. Seems like the political climate has changed. All of a sudden they realized people aren't gonna put up with this shit. Maybe Trump put his foot down too.
It's funny how it's all more political than  "scientific"

After a nice long hike we went and sat down at a bar yesterday in Wisconsin. People everywhere, no masks.

Also had some fantastic fried walleye.

Probably something close. At the very least an ominous symbol of the decrepid culture, and the latest assault on humanity

 I could only guess seeing images of masked people everywhere, say ten years ago, would've been freakishly off-putting. But now this is what we should want. And if you're a poor/struggling white man, you should be made to feel privileged and racist while getting screwed.

Lots of Asians in Toronto have been wearing masks in public since SARS.
