CaliGirl's Match.com Escapades

Tom is lovely. a bit more conservative than i would like, but nothing that can't be looked past or that is a deal breaker. he took me to an okay dinner, but the restaurant was on the bay and really pretty. i look forward to a nicer meal next time... i'm a food snob, i fully admit it. anyway i invited him upstairs for a drink before he went home. so he came up and we made out, and ended up half naked (upper) in my bed then he said he didnt have a condom... i said i wasnt planning on it getting that far... we made out a bit more and then he went home. I'm going over to his house on thursday for dinner, he told me to pack an over night bag lol.

i like him. he is everything i'm supposed to be looking for in a man. my question to myself is "do i really really like him, or do i like the idea of him?" only time will tell

Define conservative. Ask him if he likes Michele Bachman. If the answer is yes, go back to his place, tie him up, then tell him off and leave. Blame kato

LOL I was really into this post. I was picturing all of it in my head as it was happening. Some sinister build up.

Then she just tells him off and leaves? This isn't very Gaymelive'ish. Where is the blooood man the fuckin' blood???

I don't understand this. Everything you are supposed to be looking for in a man? What are your guidelines?

Might have to bump this to give you my 2 cents in September???????????? Rubyn your wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i mean like everything i should like in a man, which i do, he's kind, smart, funny (funny-ish), well off, owns a home, owns a brand new BMW, he really likes me, he likes to cook, he's really close (too close) with his parents and family, he wants a family, i get the feeling he's ready to settle down and get married in the next few years, has solid friendships, etc.

he's not going to take me to the cool exclusive bars in nyc and do blow with me in the bathrooms. he's not going to push me up against the wall and pour champagne down my tits and lick it off while keeping one hand on my neck pushing me hard against the wall of the hotel room. (true hot and sexy occurrences with my ex, Chris)

he's also not going to dick me around, or play games. (which my ex did).

*sigh* but a part of me needs the release of partying and fun. sad i know.

and *sigh* he really may be too close to mom and dad, like he goes over for dinner 3 nights a week, still takes his laundry home (he's 32 years old) and spends the night a couple nights a week, even though the condo he owns is only 10 or 15 miles away... so if i become the girlfriend, I WILL NOT be wanting to do that, and nights he would stay with mom and dad, he will be with me. and i will probably try to ween him off of mom and dad, which means Momma probably won't like me very much..... and thats something i do not want to have to deal with again.

to the last part about mom and dad, we have to remember that i haven't lived at home since I was 16. I've had my own apartment since I was 19. I live across the country from my family. and even though mom and i talk every day, if we did live near each other i'd go weeks with out actually seeing them. i'm very very independent and judge people often who go running back home every second.

guy sounds like a real buzz kill

also owning your own BMW now a days shouldn't be a deal breaker

This is a huge subliminal turn off for twat owners!

You would want him more if he wasn't all that in to you, perhaps if he called you a cunt and then ignored you you would have been more interested. It's too late now though because your first impression of him is as a nice guy - and you will never shed that impression, he is fukked and has no chance long term with you.

Sounds like he is Mr Right Now, until something better comes along.

Cali, you cunts are all eerily similar.

Plommer is strangely sage-esque in much of his advice. It's weird.

But not creepy.

It's quite obvious that Cali is a thrill seeker that is conflicted about doing what is expected of her by her family and society (settling down with a nice guy) and her strong desire for excitement, thrills and pleasure.

Broads and guys are different in some regards but in many ways we are very similar.

Plommer is also a thrill seeker that loves excitement and has chosen a life of thrills over a life of stability and responsibility.

At first it wasn't a conscious choice but at this stage of my life it absolutely is.

Yes Cali, the guy is not for you! Greener grass awaits you! Keep enjoying life!

Dinner with his family 3 nights a week?

No thanks, that's creepy strange. In fact, more than once a week is borderline scary.
