The Durito 500

Arch, P-Roid is trying to derail me with all this coinflipper talk and spreading the math propaganda. Archie, I am at 56% right now and while it is a far cry from the 60% I hoped (hope still) to achieve it is a hella lot better than 51%.

P-Roid's math would discourage me if I paid much attention.

Wally, you will be very pleased when I do the write up and the time you put into the challenge is in itself something deserving of me to put an hour or two into doing. Even if you win or lose (although the latter seems unlikely) you had the balls to do the challenge and I'm pretty sure that even if you were down significantly at this stage then you'd still be stubborn enough to see it through to the end. I think you're a lock for the GameLive Hall Of Fame.

Last week turned out to be a good week and the weekend was very good. There were several days that I posted plays and just felt like I was donating a bunch of losses but in the end many of those games actually were winners. For me it further proves my theory that when you remove your head from the process it doesnt have to make sense.

I am playing around still with how to choose sides. I have a bunch of side qualifiers today but am only posting them for tracking purposes. My only plays today are a couple of totals.

The sides that qualify are,
Oakland (-112)
Detroit (-116)
LA Angels (-101)
Chicago White Sox (-113)
Atlanta (-140)
Florida (+152)
Pittsburgh (+136)
The Dodgers also qualify but at (-195) I wouldnt play it even if I were playing these.

Todays Play:

LA Angels/Boston UNDER 8 (-105) LOSER
Houston/Cincinnati OVER 8.5 (-115) RAIN OUT

Plays are $100 to win $95 and $86.
Pittsburgh/San Diego also qualified as an UNDER but wasnt supported on ERA filter.

0-1 on the night (-$100)

The individual games that were for tracking purposes only turned out 6-2 with 2 sweet dogs.

Durito Record: 187-145-6 (+$2565)

I have more qualifiers today than any day to date. Noway am I posting them all as plays. I am eliminating plays based on not having the ERA support to back them up. I will play a couple of the sides as well today but not all as I am still tracking.

Here is the list of everything both ERA supported and not.

Toronto/Tampa Bay OVER 8.5 (-115)
LA Angels/Boston UNDER 7 (+105)
Baltimore/Kansas City OVER 9 (-105)
Minnesota/Chicago OVER 9 (-105)
Texas/Seattle OVER 7.5 (-110)
Houston/Cincinnati OVER 7.5 (-105)
San Francisco UNDER 6.5 (+105)
Toronto +156
NY Yankees -162
LA Angels +136
Baltimore +115
Cleveland +110
Milwaukee +140
Colorado -124
Chicago Cubs +140

As you can see the system likes a lot of OVERS today and that worries me.

Todays Plays:

MLB

LA Angels/Boston UNDER 7 (+105)
Baltimore/Kansas City OVER 9 (-105)
Houston/Cincinnati OVER 8.5 (-115)
Toronto +156
Baltimore +115

NHL

Washington -110

Plays are $100 to win $105,$95,$86,$156,$115 and $90.

Continued good luck Wally great job so far!

Appreciate it MrMonkey but I'm getting killed tonight.

Toronto in control the entire game and lose it in the 9th hurt. If Baltimore game doesn't go over and Baltimore win it's gonna be a lot of lost ground here..

2-4 night (-$219)

Brutal night. The only good thing to come out of the night was I didn't go crazy and bet the board.

Durito Record: 189-149-6 (+$2346)

Stanley Cup Future:

Washington Capitals +651 LOSER

$100 to win $651

Didn't even post any plays yesterday and STILL lost another game.
I now have to go 111-50 in order to achieve my original goal. Not likely gonna happen but at least there is still a chance. I haven't once been more than 45 games over .500 so to think I can get to 100 games over is more than just a little lofty.

Durito Record: 189-150-6 +$2246)

got turn this tiny bump in the road around...

day baseball today!!!!

Wally take your thinking cap off. You don't need it down the stretch run.

I had all intentions of sitting the rest of this series of baseball games out. For what I use in my system this is a bad run of games. Then McBalls had to go and remind me to stop thinking so much. I may regret taking that as a challenge but here goes anyways.

Todays Plays:

LA Angels/Boston UNDER 9 (-105)
Texas/Seattle OVER 7 (-115)
San Francisco/NY Mets OVER 7.5 (-110)
Colorado/Arizona UNDER 9 (-110)
Texas -117
Milwaukee +115

Plays are $100 to win $95,$86,$90,$90,$85 and $115

Tough luck lately, huh Wally. To bad you got that total on the Mets game at 7.5. It was 7 at all the Vegas casinos.

I've had bad runs before I expect them to happen. I am out of my element here as I was in basketball and hockey. This could simply be a bad run or an indication that I will have to pass on baseball as I did with the NBA.

Unlike what has been repeatedly discussed about the lines you seem to magically get I post the lines that I have at a recreational book and am usually up against it either in line value of price but they are legit.

Never said the line wasn't legit. I just said it sucks that you got it at 7.5 instead of the Vegas 7. I see you just want to be a dick. Last time I even try to be supportive.

Not thinking that far ahead RJ. It looks like a 1-5 maybe even a 0-6 night here which will make it a 3-10 or 2-11 week which is enough to make me want to bet nothing right now.

Baseball being a games of series means there are gonna be certain series that my numbers simply won't work. I have to test the first round and pick my spots when the numbers appear to be working. These systems I am coming up with are all new to me and I am basically using a variation of the same system in each sport. Maybe it just needs tweaking or maybe it simply won't work. I couldn't make it work for the NBA.
