Ridiculously swngy session. We go down over $900 when we lose over $600 with our aces all in preflop vs kings, then catch fire including a $300 high hand and a MASSIVE pot with a set of never loses deuces.

We finish 11.75 hours for +$537 on the day and are very thankful after how much we were down.

Run good, crew!

5.75 hours -$424. Lost a semi big hand against a donk and went on monkey tilt, becoming the tilted action player of a 1/2 table. Not my game.

Amateur hour shit.

Back to the key room I go to regroup and get my game together for next weekend.

Word.

Lol that'd be nice in addition to the 32k or so I'll make from work.

The fact of the matter is though that I won over 3k of it in one night, which is drastically spewing the numbers so early in the process. Sessions like last night are unnacceptable; I'm not saying it could've been a winning session, but I could've lost a lot less.

If I can average $20/hr now that I'm playing 1/3 on a regular basis I'll be happy.

Really wanted to play online after work so explored options. Ended up on Bovada. Bad call. Shark/nit fest at 1/2, and same for 2.50/5. Also they say their fees are $11 or whatever but each one per $200 was over $30. Wtf? The first one was supposed to be no fee, which wasn't close to true either. Got pounded, four $200 reloads plus fees and we play for 5.50 hours and lose a whopping $924.99 fees included. Probably could've played better, some tilt. Whatever. Will likely never play there or online again (so he says now).

Updated stats since my return to the game:

200.75 hours +$4,132.01 +$20.58/hr

Fuck.

Magical run for the weekend warmup as we go +$466 in 4.25 hours, it was suited connector night for sure as they kept hitting for huge pots.

Makes me feel a little better better since I stayed up pretty much all night playing on Bovada and finished down about 600. What's really annoying is I had my last 2.50/5 $200 bullet there up over a grand and now it's down to like $125. I am NOT depositing there again.

Anyway,, even though we lose a bit on the day at least we crushed it tonight instead of taking another big hit Should be a good weekend of cards.

Run good, crew.

Busy, eventful weekend of poker.

On Saturday we had a nightmare session. First, we have pocket queens, and raise big. We get reraised huge by a shark reg so we flat. The board comes all low card with two clubs. I raise big, he shoves, I call. He flips AK clubs and hits his club on the river. There goes $500 or so.

Then, the most unlucky one. I limp with 69 suited and the board comes 7 10 2 rainbow. Check, check, the turn is the 8 giving me the straight. I raise, opponent reraises, I shove and he snaps and he has pocket 7's for the set. The board pairs on the river giving him the boat. Garbage. Still, just like the Queens, nothing to regret as I played well and just got unlucky.

Here's the bad play one. I have JJ and raise to $25. A shark raises to $100. I call. The flop comes low cards and he snap shoves. I snap call, on tilt from the other two hands, and he flips kings. OBVIOUSLY he had better than JJ here, moron.

Where as the other two are bad luck, the JJ one is unacceptable play and pisses me off.

Anyway, here's the weekend numbers:

Friday 4.25 hours +$466
Saturday NIGHTMARE 11.75 hours -$1,544
Sunday 8.0 hours +$379
Monday 8.25 hours +$183

Updated live stats since coming back:

227.50 hours +$4,541 +$19.96/hr

I deleted the Bovada shit form my stats and I'm never playing there or probably anywhere else online again. In the interest of full disclosure I coughed up $2,097.10 there in 3 days which is INSANE (I didn't add it up until now). f*** that shit. RIGGED SHITHOLE. Mostly shortstacking $2.50/$5 with $200 buy ins, which isn't smart either, and I really can't play any lower online, it just sucks. All nits 1/2 and lower. It sucks because I really do like playing a lot, but I really do feel like online is rigged as so many have said.

The Saturday session goes to show you, though, bullshit can happen in person as well.

Why did I tell you guys all this?

Because you needed to know, of course.

Run good, crew.

5 hours +$168 today and I could be as frustrated at myself as I've ever been playing the game.

I walk into Live, win a few hands and am up a couple hundo. Then, I win a $599 high hand as Jacks full of aces miraculously holds for 28 minutes in a full room. What's cool is this wouldn't have even been a high hand at Rivers so I made the right move playing at Live. The odds of that hand holding for that long in a full room? Very, very low. So at this point I'm up about $900.

Lost a few hundo from some bad luck, etc., then, the big f*** up.

We get dealt AJ off suit and we call a $35 raise form a very aggressive player. We flop the rainbow fucking joint, 10 Q K all different suits. He checks, I check.

The turn is a low diamond putting two diamonds on the board. He raises big to $100, making me think he could have KK. I reraise to $225 in case he's on diamonds. He calls.

The River is a Queen (not a diamond), giving him a boat if he has Kings. I f*** up and nervously snap CHECK OUT OF TURN.

He hesitates and shoves over $200 all in. I say "I"m gonna fold because you have Kings". He shows A4 of diamonds for nothing but a busted draw.

I asked him if he would've made that move if I didn't check out of turn and he said no. I know he was being honest too. So stupid, unexplainable mistake cost me over $400.

Still, decent profit for the session, significantly over my $20/hr goal hourly, but very, very frustrating because of that stupid AS FUCK error.

But NOT as stupid as losing $3k on Bovada, so there's that.

Just gotta do like T-Sizzle and shake it off for the big weekend of poker.

Run good, crew.
