Plommer and his CPAP machine will die alone!!!
Monkey you have troubles sleeping because you are on the cocaine. Simple chemistry.
Plommer you have troubles sleeping because God thinks you're a dick.
Daft you have troubles sleeping because you are too sexy for sleep.
good thread, even had an IAG post before I knew who she was!
It's now been over 4 years since I started using the CPAP machine, have used it every day since!
I don't even try to take a nap without my machine.
Pretty sure you are pretty close to Shdw's size. I know he is 6 foot and I think about that weight? I will put a note in chat for him to get over here when he has a chance.Shadow, what type of surgery did you have?
Was it successful?
I was told the success rate is about 60% and not covered by insurance.
Shadow, I'm 6'-0", 185 pounds. Weight loss is not option to resolve my sleep apnea.
Shadow, weigh in here common.
I don't feel any more rested up.

Incredibly informative post but this part really concerns me.
Were you waking up exhausted prior to your surgery or did you have the surgery more to curb/cease snoring?
My Dad for example snores like a maniac but he feels rested.
I've been told my snoring is very mild but I'll "sleep" for 8 hours and wake up totally exhausted to the point where my eyes burn?
Did you have to pay for the surgery out of pocket? If yes, what was the cost?
Thanks a lot for sharing your story, shdw.
