I can't agree with that. I tried them and didn't find them right for me, but they seem to me like an okay option for the masses.

Back when I was regular at SBR they had some obnoxious shilling going on. That is always a black mark against a book to my way of thinking. I don't know if that is still happening.

But they are good with payouts from what I hear. Overall there is a lot of worse shit out there than RW.
 
Owner I understand what you are saying and maybe no-one else will agree but we have had this discussion before, "Brand vs Owner". If the brand hasn't done anything to harm someone and has provided those that use it with quality, service does the brand really suck?

I have read the threads and I understand the animosity that has developed between some posters and Blackie and there is wrong and right on both sides of the arguments. When pride and ego's get involved in discussion's sometimes common sense and rationale go out the window. When accusations, true or false are aired and threats, real or not get made things quickly go from useful information to a complete breakdown in communication.

I now have an association with RebateWager but I have a loyalty to myself and my friends (and even if it's e-friends I consider them friends) and as you said I probably should stay clear but my nature has always been that of a peacemaker.

I don't get the impression that there's any difference between "brand" and owner in the case of Blackie's books. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Blackie has given every indication that he is active in running his books.

And I'm not aware of any actual harm being done, but I did watch Blackie imply that he might release MFers private info to his "friends" in Vegas. If a sportsbook owner is willing to entertain thoughts of releasing private info over a forum pissing contest, imagine what he might do if the shit really hit the fan.

It's possible that Blackie is just stubborn and has a temper, and that he would never do the things he implied. It's also pretty likely that I play with sportsbooks that are run by total scumbags that wouldn't hesitate to do the things that Blackie only implied.

But the bottom line is that I could never recommend that a casual bettor give their personal information to someone who has said the things that Blackie has. Why do you feel differently?
