So I am writing this novel and the absolutely perfect title for it is The Collection. Based on what happens, it should be called The Collection.
Problem is, it's a pretty weak title in general. Like if I was some famous established writer, sure, call it whatever you want. But some complete unknown who will be trying to make an impression - it's not a good title. It sounds like a book of short stories or something. Who wants that?
I understand that nothing is ever going to happen with this book but I have to think like it might.
So if I have to pay reparations because my ancestors oppressed minorities due to their high crime rate per capita (through such things as enslavement) then I'm asking those same minorities for reparations because their high crime rate per capita is also keeping me (a cis gendered white male) oppressed...
