I found a injured birdy on my way to work yesterday in a parking lot. So I picked it up and placed it by some bushes and some trees to keep it safer. I meant to check on it after work and did not, although I passed by this morning and did not see it anywhere.

we have a family of groundhogs that have made a home under the shed out back. big fat fuckers.
 
So far this year, I have seen 4 different species of birds that I have never seen up here before.

White throated sparrow
Eastern Kingbird
Cattle egret
Great crested flycatcher

Also my GF saw an indigo bunting yesterday. Bright blue; I've seen one before.
 
Turtles these days.

didn't get to see any big cats on Safari but did see an elephant and rhino so that was really cool
