do these people scream or sometimes start running and setting others on fire? You figure that's what would happen if you sat random animal on fire :dunno:
 
It could be like a contagion. One on-fire person starts scrambling around and brushes up against a couple more people setting them on fire, then they start running around and set a few more people on fire. Maybe even a health care worker gets set on fire and ends up taking the fire to their workplace and setting a bunch of already sick people on fire.

Then before you know it, one on-fire person gets on a plane and ends up setting people at their destination on fire and things start to spread there.


Before you know it, they are setting up special wards worldwide to quarantine all the on-fire people.

It would all be quite an ordeal.

Police have booked four persons on the charge of abetment to suicide of NitinRavaldev, an Ahmedabad resident, who immolated himself on Wednesday in Nizampura area of the city. Nitin died of burns on Thursday following which the police began inquiring about the incident with his family. The police said that the deceased's family had refused to register any complaint.

I spent a couple weeks in McLeod Ganj in India where the Dalai Lama lives. They have this billboard up all over the place with pictures of all the people who self-immolated. It's a bit weird.

They had Dance Dance Immolation at burning man this year. Just like DDR, but when you screwed up, a flamethrower aimed at your head went off.
