I have a huge crush on this girl who works at a casino here. She's a cute blonde from California. She seems extremely down to Earth and intelligent - two characteristics that are not only incredibly attractive but an absolute rarity in girls in Vegas. I have such a crush that I'll go play blackjack every once in a while just to be able to talk to her for a bit. For those of you who have met me, you know how much I despise playing -EV games since I'm not a card counter. There are signs that she may be interested in me, but I'm not absolutely sure. I'd really like to find out. The problem is that I don't know how to ask her. The only place I see her is at work while she's dealing to a table full of drunken baffoons. I'm thinking that I could wait until she goes on break and ask her out or something, but does that seem inappropriate? I'm actually nervous about approaching her. I haven't felt nervous like this in an about 8 years. ARGH!!!!

Just do it, wait until she's on a break and ask her. If she says yes, then cool. If she says no then you don't have to play any more -EV games. It's a win-win situation.

find out when she is off work and ask her to a drink with you

strike up a convo with her and be your witty self, don't be the asshole you like to be until the 2nd date

Maybe your alittle nervous because in most cases you wouldn't give a fuk if someone wasn't interested, just move on to the next one!

But this one sounds like you really care about her possibly not being interested! MrsMonkey has me watching so many romantic type movies anymore, that I'm always wanting people to get hooked up for more than one night! Good luck and keeps us posted!:thumbup:

I thought about that, but it seems a bit corny and desperate for how little I know her. It's just not my style. I'll save that for a later day - hopefully.
 
I'm not saying this is the case, but they probably hire attractive females and tell them to flirt with the players so they stick around longer to play...she could display the same behavior to every male in their 20s.

That is definitely true, Monkey. Normally, I wouldn't care.
 
Well you would roll it into a conversation. When I'm out with call-girls I do it all the time when negotiating prices.

Tell her your a sports gambler and how tough it is...never really like playing blackjack because of the edge but having good people like her to chat with makes it well worth the time. That doesn't sound desperate and it is probably the exact opposite of what she gets from most of the guys there.

Of course, they do. However, I'm pretty good about knowing what's genuine and what isn't.
 
F0cker, just get tickets to some popular show/concert and ask her if she wants to go. You can play it off that a friend couldn't use them and you only have guy friends, so she gets first dibs. Even if she's not into you right now, she'll say yes to an evening at the opera and there's your opening to win her heart.
