I have a huge crush on this girl who works at a casino here. She's a cute blonde from California. She seems extremely down to Earth and intelligent - two characteristics that are not only incredibly attractive but an absolute rarity in girls in Vegas. I have such a crush that I'll go play blackjack every once in a while just to be able to talk to her for a bit. For those of you who have met me, you know how much I despise playing -EV games since I'm not a card counter. There are signs that she may be interested in me, but I'm not absolutely sure. I'd really like to find out. The problem is that I don't know how to ask her. The only place I see her is at work while she's dealing to a table full of drunken baffoons. I'm thinking that I could wait until she goes on break and ask her out or something, but does that seem inappropriate? I'm actually nervous about approaching her. I haven't felt nervous like this in an about 8 years. ARGH!!!!

Well you would roll it into a conversation. When I'm out with call-girls I do it all the time when negotiating prices.

Tell her your a sports gambler and how tough it is...never really like playing blackjack because of the edge but having good people like her to chat with makes it well worth the time. That doesn't sound desperate and it is probably the exact opposite of what she gets from most of the guys there.
