I bought new skates today, got the Bauer Nexus 1000, I hope they ship quick.

I got practice in 2 weeks, got a gig as an assistant coach of a high school team, pending the background check.

You bought these skates just to coach hockey? Seriously??

I needed new skates, I also play in 2 leagues, I paid $382 for the skates not retail. There is no way I could justify $750.

Skates are expensive. Maybe you can get a part time job at a store that sells skates and get them at employee discount.

that is the discount, instead of getting a job, its easier to find a friend who has a job and use their discount.

Ah gotcha Tully. That's a sweet deal for those skates then. I hope you like them.

Please don't tell me you use a stick that is 8" to long for you. You a D or F?

The Winter Classic is cancelled.

Oh noes.

forward, stick is cut to below chin by an inch

Its always fun to see a goalie flip out and start smacking shit with his stick  Harding

Cut him some slack Reno. He just found out in August that he has MS.

Maybe that was why he was spazzing out? Uncontrollable MS twitches.

Not looking good Stevie for the FlyBoys! Down here people were jazzed up for the season and balloon already deflated!

Offense was supposed to be of no concern! It was the defense that was cause for concern along with goalie situation! Defense has been what it is and Bryz has been solid! Offense though has been a complete zero!

Prop Bet for the Season:

Stevie scores more through the 5 hole than the Flyers as a team!

Stevie -280
Flyers +240

Philly's goaltending is mediocre. NJ has only 9 goals against all season. Brodeur keeps getting better with age.

Pucky, you know your stuff but I kindly say that my eyes and ears tell me Bryz's play has been better than mediocre!

I figured I would just bring back this thread for purposes of any IIHF 2013 talk.

I am watching the IIHF - Canada vs Belarus

It is fun to watch the chemistry between Stamkos and Giroux developing. Canada is clearly using this as a trial for the potential Olympic lineup...
