I had to break up my questions so that I can get to 500 posts quicker and thus get some odds on my demise, so how is the marijuana? You should have some really good stuff there, being close to both Cali and Denver. Plus I know from living in the Amish / Mennonite country, that they really know how to grow the stuff, so can I assume that the Mormon dudes will have atleast 5 of their wives out there peddling the stuff in the lobbies of the resort hotels?

lol...

you have to go really down south to find the polygamist stronghold, and it is seriously backasswards there. really not a lot of them in the city and they are hard to spot. Most of the grass comes form Humboldt county, not a lot is grown locally. Its good. Its rare to find shit now and days.

tully-jackson hole is great skiing, but the powder is better here.

Kato, do you drink Polygamy Porter?

Do they have the best beer slogan, "why just have one?"

yeah, that was marketing genius. i drink wasatch's devistator now, or squatter's hop rising. good taste 9% beer. or PBR.

Since, I drive through that fucker all the time, I'd like to know if some parts of Utah are mellower than others.
Like, how does Salt Lake compare to Green River area or Cedar City in terms of strict laws, % of Mormons and all that.
I know one time we were looking for a bar to watch a game in Beaver and were told bar is only open on Thursday's 2-5.

st george and cedar city are not that bad at all, follow the same rules as Salt Lake. Park City or Ogden is probably the most liberal cities in Utah. Provo/Orem is a fucking joke. Small towns like fillmore/beaver are completely backassward. The biggest problem is that hard liquor/wine is state run, so you have to buy at the state store. closed sunday. close at 10 pm. taxed up your ass.

What an upgrade in poster choice for the Ask thread this week. Very happy with the education going on here.

My two best powder days in my life have been at Alta and Grand Targhee.

Kato, what is your favorite resort in Utah?

Do you think the Jazz and Hornets should trade nicknames?

tully, love Alta...hands down the best in Utah, the bird is 2nd, solitude 3rd because of honeycomb...

keeping the bird open til father's day this year

i actually think the jazz and the new orleans saints should trade names

sure why not? they support another language, might bring a different economy to the world, maybe we could see a canadian civil war? that may be fun?

it wouldn't be fun? come on....

how is the escort scene in salt lake?

I got Mormons and Amish confused and thought the escorts might look like this:
