On second thought- they are both mediocre.

Trying to grow my collection - although I should grab another Old Hickory soon.

Boys, I’m going camping on the Bourbon Trail next weekend.

Will be right by Buffalo Trace.

Bulleit, Four Roses, Woodford are nearby.

Gonna be a good one.

Or

Might suck if restrictions are in place.

I had Basil Hayden (again) the other night right before ordering an Angel's Envy

Angel's Envy destroys Basil Hayden IMO Wally

Angels Envy is fantastic

About to try High West (bourbon not the rye) for the first time. Boys, do we like this?

Yes. I tried them all at distillery in Utah.

Tasty stuff.

You pricks should be posting your rankings, I don't have access to any of this fancy stuff.

I'll rate what I have on my shelf right now. Many of which I will have to go from memory since I can't open, because I can't find a replacement.

1. Stagg jr
2. Black Saddle 12y
3. Blood Oath p1
4. Elijah Craig barrel Proof
5. Colonel Taylor Single Barrel
6. Blood Oath p3
7. Eagle Rare 10y
8. Michters bourbon
9. Bulleit
10. Blood Oath p2

Mickey mouse club
1. Joseph Magnus (silver label) which I will never open because it sucks and costs $100. (hoping to trade)
2. Devils River barrel proof

one and only rye, which is my favorite
1. Whistle Pig Farmstock

High West was nice. Nothing incredibly remarkable. It had a nice kick. It was a click or two below Angels Envy.

I loved the Campfire

Just got a bottle of Tyrconnell 16 yr old single malt whiskey. We open later in week and give a review.

Got my first Elijah Craig without the age statement, looking forward to it.

Saw some unusual bottles on the shelves including this Colorado whiskey:

$80 for Bulleit?!? 🤦‍♂️

Ive mentioned Stranahan's a few times.

It's one of my Top Picks.

Matty, get your hands on some Old Hickory.

I just finished my first bottle, after a few months hiatus.

So exquisite.

It made the Basil and Long Branch seem like hog swill.

No such thing here, amigo. Our selection is pathetic.

I just realized I've never had Basil. Probably because the reviews are largely underwhelming and the price tag is too high.

Increased demand forced them to mix in some younger juice. Which is fine by me - the 12 was probably a little too intense and oak-ey.

I just had a sip of the new one and it's really good... very similar to the old recipe, just a touch less syrupy. :greencheck:
