I actually had a really crazy idea you would have loved for like a comedy wrestling league where I'd play a bunch of different goofy characters and play the matches out on WWE2K. Already have a bunch of different chars and storylines brainstormed, but I'm not sure I have the time to produce and edit all that or how much anyone would care 😂

Sounds good, if you make it current on whatever is happening week to week than people would actually search for what's trending, which might be a key to jump starting the algorithm. WWE is the number 1 most subscribed sports channel on YouTube.
 
Google reported Q2 earnings, youtube made $8.663 billion from ads this last quarter

based on last year's numbers they are surpassing the $35 billion mark in ad sales plus around $15 billion in youtube premium sales, so youtube has surpassed the $50 billion mark in revenue for the year

a little under 50% of that money goes to the youtube partner program, for this year it's going to be around $23 billion dollars going to youtubers

Once I get the book writing rolling, I'm planning on a re-launch with a reading/writing rebrand. Who knows, maybe that'll catch on?
 
Susan Wojcicki died today of cancer

She rented her garage to Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they founded Google, the original Google ran out her house, then she became employee number 16, when Google bought YouTube she took over it and grew it to what it is today, she ran it until she retired in 2023 to treat cancer

Anyone like really laugh at this guy?

I feel like it fits the profile of a guy that I would like, but I just never laugh.

I was having this conversation with wifey a couple days ago - I think Bill Burr is a fantastic talk show/podcast guest and a pretty bad comedian. I don't care for his stand up but he's always an insightful and funny social commentator when he shows up at someone else's thing.
