Supporting this Supreme Court decision is supporting big government. Supporting this Supreme Court decision but also supporting things like overturning Roe is hypocrisy and obviously politically motivated.

Support States rights/small govt or don't.

I don't really see how giving parents the right to opt out of material they deem inappropriate is big government at work. Having options is a good thing. They went way over the line in Maryland (I'm assuming you know the details). Regardless - It's settled, thankfully.

What fucking horror show the public school system has become...to the point where you need to actively vet your kids teachers.

What falls under freedom of religion (a federal protection) just got expanded to include what books are used to teach kids in the state of MD (a state function, in this case delegated to Montgomery COUNTY). If you don't understand how shoehorning this under freedom of religion is big govt I don't know how to help.

Let the fine people of MD decide how and what to teach in their schools just like the fine people of TX should decide when and where abortions are performed within their borders. Anyone who doesn't like it should opt out by moving or voting for change in their state. That's how the system is supposed to work.
