Looks like the coward didn’t comply when they finally took him into custody.

Mr. Monkey probably hates conservative Republican, Liz Chaney. I’d like to see Desantis and Chaney run in 24’

First off if I used the "hate" (can't say for sure I haven't here) describing someone though not right at all since how can I never meeting that person. Though I get what you mean! Clearly she is a talented speaker not just from that vid but also during the hearing and other times I've heard her in public. Very patriotic sounding but I'm not buying it like you but that's cool!

And it's nice you would want Liz as VP but we both know monkeys would fly out our butts before that would ever happen! She might have a better at the Dem candidacy.

Her primary initial opening was 10+!!! Of course after for 18 months ripping Trump she cleverly answered the question that was on all in Wyoming minds before it was asked. I heard her mentioned "Trumps lies" but please tell me all his lies? No doubt he screwed up with Jan 6 and continuing saying the election was rigged but don't think he lied? And surely not as often as other politicians. Please point out the Trump ones Liz mentioned?

Trump too often put down George W and remembering him making fun of Jeb after destroying him in the 2016 primaries. Everything Bush despises him (if I was them might also) and we know Dick Cheney was his VP for 8 years. So as you think she's different than her father? IMO not in the business of Trump.

Just one question, you seriously think she has a chance as being the Rep VP candidate or just a liking to be?

I think she had less than 1% chance.

And continuing to say the “election was rigged” in the face of continuing evidence to the contrary is lying.

headed off to the beach, Mr. Monkey. Enjoy your day. I bet Mrs. Monkey is preparing a delicious Sunday dinner for her knight-in-shining armor!

Tron, I always thought a state rep follows the will of his/her states wishes? You know they spend time in DC working and then usually takes breaks in the year to go back home and get the pulse of their constituents on which way they desire in this case Cheney to vote on matters. Wyoming sure didn't want this insurrection hearing to go on and to boot get to see their state Rep doing everything possible to destroy Trump.

Representatives also take an oath to support the constitution.

The man tried to stay in office after losing an election. It's literally about the most dangerous thing a president could do for the future of this democracy. Democracies are fragile. We're the longest running one, and we're not that old. Our democracy will surely fail one day, and it will quite likely look something like what Trump tried to do, only done more effectively.

No doubt Cheney believes she is acting in the best interest of her constituents by protecting the structure of the country as a whole. She's not acting in her own best interest to stay in power. Not everything is a personal vendetta, Mr Monkey. It's a valid take to view Trump as a serious threat to our whole system.

Better MrX for me to just agree to disagree. We just have different opinions which is fine! Not in your sole direction since we haven't done back and forth like I have with other posters but I don't see any debate having us come to a mutual understanding.

Yeah but MrMonkey only likes Trump's policies, not his personality/behavior.

So the whole undermining of the validity of free elections and fueling the flames on an attack of our nation's capital is just Trump being Trump, which MrMonkey hates. He only loves all of his policies and stuff. Company A boss is way better than Company B boss even if he's a bit of a jerk.

It must be so convenient to compartmentalize everything you like into one category and everything you dislike into another so you never have to worry about moral dilemmas.
