Feeling considerably better. Got out of breath doing some heavy chores around my place but, yeah, I’m out of the hell world that was Monday afternoon ——-> Thursday morning.

Here’s what I would have done different:

-Not procrastinated on the booster. I was a month overdue. My brain keeps telling me I’m 32 years old but we are QUICKLY approaching 50. I’m a relatively healthy guy but I’m definitely booster material

-as extremely difficult as the task felt at the time with a fever/body aches/lethargy taking hold, I should have went and got tested Monday late afternoon or EARLY Tuesday morning. If you recall, I got turned away Tuesday afternoon and was too wiped out to go to a different testing site. I still do not have my test results from Wednesday mornings test.

-most importantly, I would have started taking two Tylenol every 8 hours on Tuesday morning/afternoon (giving the low grade fever a little time to cook) but not going basically 48 hours without Tylenol. And I should have called my doctor at onset of symptoms so that I would have video seen him on Tuesday rather than late Wednesday afternoon.

It feels amazing to be feeling somewhat better. I’m not go on a bike ride better, but I’m making big progress.
Glad to hear you are doing so much better! Hopefully the effects don't linger too long.

The Tylenol lesson is a good one to learn. I have always historically just waited until I felt like I was on death's door to take it. But muscle pain, fever, etc it really does do wonders. Don't need to get dependent on the stuff, but no need to be a hero either. Just started taking for my lingering leg pain after months of suffering and feel so much better now.

Below tells story of record after record broken down here with COVID spreading like wildfire .....

Florida breaks COVID-19 daily cases record 6th time in 2 weeks

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Ahead of the weekly Florida COVID-19 case data release, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Case Surveillance showed the state had, again, broken its daily case record for new COVID-19 positive test results.

On Jan. 6, Florida reported 76,887 cases, beating the previous daily high of 75,732 on Dec. 30. Previously, preliminary data from the CDC on Dec. 30 had initially reported 75,962 new cases, showing that some of the previous report had been adjusted and reduced.

Here's data from FLA COVID website ....

Read what you want into the data but low amount of recent deaths and go way down the charts showing most deaths are 65+.
Additionally FLA is 72% vaccinated. That's a high % so anyone/news/people want to tell us only the unvaccinated are spreading COVID or contracting it difficult to consider that factual.

Everyone is spreading it no doubt. Unvaccinated are dying more from it, though.

I think everybody knows this by now. Yet it's not stopping these fucks from making the case (even in front of the supreme court) that vaccine mandates for workers are necessary to prevent spread.
And I doubt that they ever intend to reverse these mandates, if they are able to instill them, no matter what happens with the virus, because the goal is to fuck the people. Firstly those that aren't overly obedient, but ultimately most everybody.

I agree and can't say I'm not worried a bit about that fact! Hope you are feeling better by the hour. I tell MrsM about you getting this really bad and if we all had to vote at GL for most fit, healthy poster, you definitely would win that hands down! COVID can hit anybody.

I dunno mister monkey, MrX once walked from Mexico to Canada, through the wild wild west of California, Oregon and Washington

Just think of all the horrible people Mr. X must have met while walking through California. At a minimum, Mr. X is the mentally fittest GL poster.

Somethings not right.

Still no C-19 results. Got tested Wednesday around 11AM. “2-3 days” the fella told me.

My friend got her result back the next day. Different facility but, c’mon.

Still nothing?

he loves those people. Those are his people. ... I don't think he ever made it all the way to Canada though

Tron, are feeling better by the day?
Yes, sir, I am! Thank you for asking. And it’s glorious. I’m going to finish all my prescriptions like a good patient but I’ve stopped taking Tylenol.

I did 50 pushups (over the whole course of the day yesterday). That’s a big leap from “should I go to the ER” four days ago.

:up Dude, you had it a lot worse than people who have come back to work saying just mild symptoms. From FLA data I have seen counties in your area have been hit hard numbers wise.
