No help needed. I just fixed my own internet. It was down for a day and a half but I just got it going on my own.

I mean, I followed a series of instructions but I did it without needing to talk to a live person.

Feeling pretty studly here right now.

I don't. I used to use a fingerprint reader for it for a while, but now I just encrypt my own password file and copy/paste.

this is how im doing it since about a month ago

with Password Safe from Bruce Schneier I encrypt it

and sync it with SpiderOak which is supposedly zero knowledge back up host

https://spideroak.com/solutions/spideroak-one

it's working well, if I add or modify the the master list it replicates to all my machines, and every few days I make additional backups all over, only takes me a couple of minutes for the extra backups
 
Not a question but more of an aimless complaint. For some reason, on this computer where I take my lunch, gamelive has started acting differently.

First of all, when I go to submit a post, it just sits there in indefinite spinny thinking mode. Now when I go back to the forum page, it will have updated and accepted that post - and it will be there in the thread - and it seems like it happens very promptly - but it won't actually show it posted while I'm sitting here waiting.

Also, I can't edit posts.

Also, I can't post pictures from the web.

I used to be able to do these things, but not lately. I figure these issues are all about this computer - not gamelive - but anyway, these are the hardships I am currently facing.

Well the reply acted like it should - however now there is not even an option to link a picture. None of the options that are usually there across the top (if I am remembering correctly) are there. Like the different font and linking options - not seeing any of that.

Muddy-Did you ever get this fixed? I am having the same problem. Every time I post, it acts like it's taking forever and I eventually just close the window. It usually has taken, but acts like it is just thinking.

The other thing is I can't post smileys anymore by clicking on them.

I do not wish to change browsers, but this is annoying enough that I may have to try that. I tried clearing cache/cookies.
