Apple sold 20.3 million iPhones in a quarter

Apple sold 9.3 million iPads in a quarter

R&D as a percentage of sales is just 2.2%

222,000,000: That's the number of iOS devices out there in the world right now.

Apple's retail channel generated $3.6 billion in sales, or $10.8 million per store

Unreal numbers. Well played Steve.

Steves be ABCing like motherfuckers.

He's likey he lasted this long according to what he had! Got a liver transplant that helped him out to survive longer!

Reminds me Daft of an auto dealer who owned probably 20-30 dealerships in SJ and was loaded beyond anyone's dreams but died before he reached I think 40 from cancer! Money just can't help when the man calls!

Apple playing catch-up for the first time in a while. The iPhone 5 will prolly come shortly (3-4 months?)

This smartphone war is getting quite interesting.

Go consumers.

I love the new I pads....... they are convenient and really cheap now.

I think it was him who I heard in my sleep last night, "I will crush Elvis for amount of money made in the afterlife." OMG! I hear dead people! Scarier than the Centipad movie for me!

I've been eyeing the iPads/iPhones/iPod Touches forever. I may finally pull the trigger. Not sure which. None of them are exactly what I want.

I don't need a phone. What I want is an iPod Touch with some kind of cellular link. Or a 4-inch iPad. Not 10, not 7, 4 inches max.

Obvious pick is the iPhone, but the full retail price without the cell contract subsidy is quite prohibitive. I can buy two laptops with the same money.
