White album is my #1, Abbey Road a close second. Agree about tier 3, I don't even think I own any records from tier 3 on vinyl.

White Album - some great stuff but a lot of junk also. More of a compilation of unreleased stuff instead of an album.
Hard Day's Night - 1st album with no covers.

I watched the movie A Hard Day's Night recently. It was a basically enjoyable simple thing. Those guys were such droll scamps.

Could not help but notice the complete lack of virtuosity in their musicianship though. As far as writing, there is no denying --> it is right on target. They wanted simple pop hits and they delivered.

But I was kinda like, man, you'd think they'd want to learn how to play those instruments a little better.

A little perspective.

They could probably write an album.......before you came up with a title...of one song.
