Would anyone be adverse to maybe doing it sometime in November? Just took a look at hotel rates, and they are jacked up a bit for that particular Halloween weekend. Not tooo bad, but could still do much better another weekend. We plan on getting in on a Friday, leaving on a Monday, whenever we do go. It's always a party in N.O.

I think it might be because that is also the weekend of the vodoo music fest. At least this past year the music fest was on halloween weekend.
