Buffalo Bill Days in Golden.

I'll be dressed all frontier-like and riding my penny-farthing.

It is, but I've never done it before.
 
So what's the story behind this parade, why'd they start doing it? I'm sure I could look it up, but I don't feel like it and I am working on a file....help a sista out homie.
 
Well, I don't know, either. I'm just a whore. If someone wants me to ride my big, dumb bike around in front of a bunch of people, I'm pretty much going to do it.
 
Apparently it's been going on since the 40s, though.
 
And there's muttin'-bustin'.

The Buffalo Bill Day's parade has been a Golden tradition for almost 50 years, and we strive each year to make it a fun and memorable experience for both spectators and participants alike. One of the best Golden Colorado Events, our parade boasts over 70 head of horses, collectible cars, creative floats, fire and emergency vehicles, and several local performing and charitable groups. It usually takes about an hour for the approximately 80 different entries to pass by. We hope you will join us for the 2014 Buffalo Bill Days Parade!
