i ditched it after 10-15min ... the annoyingly stupid rule kicked in... does it get better, daft? im willing to give anything a chance. maybe i was just tired, but it seemed like some ridiculous bad shit you would see on the syfy channel.

It's pretty cheesy, rayray.

I figured I would give it a chance. I doubt I'll watch the 2nd episode.

Sopranos was a strong show on many levels. The problem with it was that they raised so many interesting issues but were unwilling or unable to resolve most of them. I find that kind of weak, and the final episode was a perfect example. That was the last show I followed regularly and couldn't wait for the next episode.

Also was a big fan of Family Guy. But I think they said everything that needed to be said in the first few seasons.

Did you watch The Wire? If not, you would probably enjoy that. No cheap thrills, no loose ends, no nothing but pure brilliance.

its not...i realized after watching for a minute that it was a knockoff of the aussie show...its okay and has a few laughs.

Suits isnt bad...good personalities...but it really seems like every fokkin new show on tv these days is about lawyers/cops/court and its getting old

i love television.

thats it on the list.
dont watch much except sports or cartoons ( not by choice)

This might be a good idea. Even if just for half a year or so to see if we can do it. It just sucks because in order to have DVR, we need the box. And we enjoy recording a lot of shows to watch during later down times.

But I'm tired of paying well over $100 a month for all these stupid stations I never watch. Just got rid of HBO, Showtime, etc etc a couple months ago.

You can rent all these shows on dvd down the road these days anyways. Been spending much more time outdoors lately. Hmmmm....
