The van entered Las Ramblas where it meets the Plaa de Catalunya, then drove towards the port area.

According to early reports, it sped down the centre of the road, which is usually packed with people, until it hit a newspaper kiosk and stopped.

A taxi driver told TV3 that he saw people being run over by the van.

You would love the Basque Country province in the north, there is a very different experience than the typical Spain visit, the weather the people and specially the food, their food is very seafood based and very unique to pretty much the rest of Europe, I forgot exactly the number I read one time that the Basque Country has the highest amount of Michelin rated restaurants in the world or something like that
