Moving this here to not clutter up Cougs (epic) betting thread.
My wife and some friends have said for a while they think he's dealing with something (blisters?). But I cannot believe they wouldn't just shut him down if he had something obvious.
Wife has been on the fire Boone train for three years now (even after the WS run) and im finally there. I dont really think the modern manager does much in terms of wins/losses so I always said "who cares." Now I say who cares to firing him. Sure, why not, maybe spark something. Didn't the Phillies turn it all around after firing a manager one year? Maybe it was Girardi?
Ima keep watching because im a fan. But its painfully obvious they're not a contender right now.
