World Series is only baseball I watched this year. And even that was an arduous task.

Women and youth viewers must be in extreme minority.

So we learned today that ratings for all major sports are down significantly (NFL results pending).

:greencheck:

The public is clearly demanding a more exciting sport. I know I am.

Any ideas?

Something about the Dodgers I just never liked. Not quite sure why. I mean, in my 45 years as a Red Sox fan, it’s not like they ever hurt my team in any way. I just don’t like them
Through my childhood I've always hated California teams (appart from San Diego and oddballs like GS Warriors) Lakers/Dodgers/49ers. ..ooh I hated those guys

Sports are 90% hype. At least that's the way they're marketed, It suffers when there's no live fans. And even without that, the sports market is a huge bubble. ...Maybe the proliferation of betting can save it for a while :hmm:
Plus video reviews suck :boo: Lets quit trying to micro manage trivial activities and enjoy them for their cultural/historical significance
...And stop with the incessant music between puck drops

Yeah pretty much just baseball with a sustained declining trend.

RIP Hammering Hank. Legend. The world will remember that man.

Aside from the regular baseball history stuff I didn't know much about him.

Here's a nugget - Aaron was a vegetarian.

RIP

The 1st book I ever read in English was 1/4 part about Hank Aaron. rip guru
