any armadillos?
caught one when I was a kid running across the yard. we kept him in a trash can for a few hours before letting him go.
first and only armadillo I've ever see here

When we drained the Pond of Death for an inspection once an armadillo ended up in the pond and it's lined so he couldn't get out. I got him cornered in the inlet to the irrigation to get him out. Amazing how strong they are. When they ball up it's actually like an armored muscle. Plus those little fuckers have about a 3 foot vertical.

yes, armadillos are here. fox, possum, coons, roadrunners, even a couple of wild hogs. wife is the one into the birds, lots of blue jays, cardinals, titmouse, hawks, turkey vultures, waxwings. coyote and fox as well, really like the little gray fox, very cool little creatures.
