It was a great day in soccer but parlaying with tennis cost me a unit off a perfect day. I adjusted parlay odds on here and my spreadsheet for retirement in hantuchova match. I am still up in the air about the arsenal match , I want to research it more, I just wish Arsenal were at full strength.

Kazan has looked good against Dynamo and has a good amount of games under their belt in russian league and Lyon has done nothing yet to justify the handicap. Kazan also just signed Paraguay forward Nelson Valdez and with
Kazans tough defense, look at their losses, rarely do they get wiped out, makes this +1 handicap a wager.

I did lose my wager with Kazan against Twente when they lost 2-0 but I just dont see the style of play of Lyon putting up the same type of result.

I am not real confident in these picks today, Rubin Kazan was my favorite pick of the champions league this week and it lost so I am treading lightly today. I usually like to start picking up in units as I start making money but I am staying away this week.

Villareal is the more talented team but Odense has played alot more, already has a good win against Panathinaikos and playing at home. I am going to take the .5 and 1 goal handicap.

I usually dont wager this many games in the Europa league, so many results are surprising and you always wonder about motivation for some teams. I really like the field in the europa this year though, a very strong field this year, European soccer is still the greatest in the world and many of these teams are high quality teams.

I will update the record in the morning, overall a good day on baseball, did well but gave a little back in the evening on soccer because of live betting on MLS of all places, but tennis was an absolute wash with Petkovic and her miserable play today. A very poor day overall, I was at home with the flu and bet way too many halftime wagers.

I love these lines for Bundesliga tonight, I thought Mainz would be a higher line and certainly not a pk. after their start and Schalkes poor performances of late, the Helsinki game was painful to watch.

Mainz let me down last year by starting out strong and fizzling later on but I love this game. Both goalkeepers have played well, two of Mainzs games have been under 2.5 and Ralf Fhrmann has been impressive for Schalke in goal.

If you factor in a new stadium, and a tough midweek game for Schalke, I think this one will be played close to the vest especially for Schalke. I see this a 1-0 or 2-0 game with Mainz coming out on top, but Mainz should win this one.

Hey Arch. You are not missing much, I am still up for the year but not by much in this thread, I will try to update the record today or tomorrow for my game live thread. I am up about 9 units in my sbr soccer thread. I am coming off my third losing day in a row in soccer though I am doing pretty good compared to my spreadsheet numbers from years past around this time, league play is tough in the beginning. I also went 1-5 in my baseball thread. Ice cold. At least today we have some european play.

Trying to figure out the aggregate numbers and goals need usually helps me wagering on totals but the stats on alot of the teams dont give you alot to go in determining totals today.

So many teams are just starting league play and looking at the style of play can be deceiving. I did like two totals though, I really could see a wide open match with Villarreal/Odense because if Odense gets one goal they could still advance even with a Villarreal victory.

The Yellow Submarine have 8 straight victories at home in euro play, and their stats probably indicate a high scoring match, they are one of the top ten scoring teams in champions league play and in total shots. They dominated possession and shots on goal against Odense in the first match and should dominate right from the start here. Especially if Odense sneaks in a goal, I am hoping we see a wide open game.

I dont understand this line. Cyprus is a tough place to play, it should very hot during the day but should cool off by the time the match starts but the atmosphere will make this tough one for the Poles to play in. I really thought don't know why a few punters on the boards thought Apoel should have won are at least drawn in their first match, I didnt watch the whole match but from what I saw I thought the Poles were the superior side.

The aggregate goal standings will make for an even more offensive minded Apoel, I dont know if they will advance and they may win this one but Wisla will have alot of counter opportunities for a goal and should advance. I really like the total here.
