Nope not a drop brother rogie ty for asking. I've had a water and an iced tea. I'm getting used to playing sober.

Get this - my energy is through the roof.

Maybe dealer girl can start a 2nd job as a dom and I could be her first client. I could see her being onto some s&m, they way she says my name is very dom/subbish, and it's intoxicating. I know she knows it too. That last time I saw her "Stephen, you're not clocked in give me your card". Me "that just cost me $.80 in comps". Her "$80, huh."

She fucking clocked me out just to fuck with me I bet.

Brilliance.

Oh man I just saw that dealer girl came in. She's so fucking beautiful and I am now nervous.

yeah, I used to like that flush draw all in flop raise play. But I think it's old news by now. Most everybody will put you on a flush draw at that point. Keep those early bets low and try to make the draw cheaply. Somebody just might pay you off big once you make your draw with either a call or interestingly a bluff bet. Timid looking play can invite bluffs

Nothing I like better than a guy bluffing himself into my nuts

Bacon you're almost making me wanna play poker again. The strategies and stuff is fun. It's just the people I don't like. Trying to take money from these sad sacks, or worse, losing to them ..ugh

Also women may be more dangerous than alcohol to winning gambling :nun:

Yeah on the flush all in play especially against two or more opponents you'd think you have some fold equity but what I've been running into is when I do it people have a set or whatever putting me at a significant underdog. I have to stop that shit.

Yeah man agreed on cheap draws. I had a guy next to me last night who rivered my aces with bottom pair then he was following my nuts draw semibluff with the same draws worse than the nuts. He'd have paid me big if I caught but I just couldn't catch a break.

I enjoy the strategy talk a lot too and your insights man and appreciate it, you're far away but if one of us is ever in the other's area it'd be cool to run a session with the donks.

Weak day of poker yesterday. Couldn't catch a set, my big hands played little. Dropped $45 at spot #2 then $113 at spot #3 for a loss on the day of $158. Not the end of the world but I see about $80 in mistakes I made that have to be cleaned up, and another mistake betting out on aces on an unsuspicious board.

Agreed on women, lol. There's not that many women around doing this, but there's been a few around. There was a decent looking blonde to my left the other day who said something brief to me then ordered a drink so I complimented her in her choice. Then I'm thinking why not make a cool play to show her her what a great player I am. Then I realized I was the biggest tool in the world for even thinking that. No dealer girl at my table and not sure when I'll see snack bar girl again, her I might grab a beer with bit I don't think it'd get too crazy.

Frustrated with yesterday but I do think flopping no sets etc skews the result. Playing 1/2 is like gouging your eyes out with a grapefruit spoon after all that time at 1/3 and higher but it's how it's gotta be.

Today I am going to check out a place about an hour out since they start their high hands earlier, see if it fits in the rotation. Then I'm going to roll up to spot #3 for their high hands since they pay more and if you get one there's a killer drawing at month'so end and I have to try to get in that.

Run goog in all you do today all.

Reno would probably like Sands Bethlehem the best of the joints I've been to, it's the biggest (I think) except for the Borgata. They have a lot going on. Not crazy about the bathroom was in as the urinals were very close together and since I have large balls and a large sack they touched the toilet water which I could've done without. That was NOT an hour drive, more like 90 minutes. Not looking forward to it to make 9 am in the morning.

But shit man, she works hard for her damn money.

Sick heater at spot #4 and finished $308 up. You know the deal guys, telling you now to keep myself in check not to blow it at spot #3 now. I do think it could have been maybe $60 better as I made a $40 river bet that didn't need to happen and I bet out instead of checking on a harmless board with aces. I do feel however like play is improving and I'm getting back to form. Have to remember to give the commute to spot #3 75 minutes. Phew!

Spun my wheels at spot #2 for $46 to finish up $358.

Reno I don't have a computer right now to copy and paste hands from my blog to here so if you want to check out any of the ones I marked for myself to move to the forum for analysis feel free, there's a couple thinkers there.

Feeling good but not great about today's sessions because I still see over $64 in mistakes. Yes, the goal at this level of $100 per day was more than tripled but what is good could have been better.

Ran into dealer girl and it was so chill. She had talked about an investment property prior and went ahead and brought it up to me while we were dealing, when I was about to do the same thing. We bantered almost the entire time she was dealing and I even opened with a somewhat smooth $2 tip to open saying to her "you look lucky tonight, let's make some magic". I really doubt I'm in her league and that's ok, I'm very happy to have her as an acquaintance and if it becomes a poker buddy or whatever that'd be kickass too. She does the whole nine yards poker wise, trips to Vegas etc. - she sounds like she has a deeper background in playing than I do and my background for cash is well over a decade. Just a cool connection and very cool to feel something so positive when you're folding hands for hours of sometimes. She even surprised me with a little zinger when I was at another table (she'd only spoken to me before when she was dealing my table) and when my face instincrively lit up like Jim Carey in dumb and dumber I could tell she held back from bursting out laughing. Nice subtle return of me throwing in the conversation at the table that you were probably the drunk donkey, I see how you are - no response and plot revenge. Very well played, yeah I do that too and it's my turn.

Confidence is back but still have to feel like all major leaks are fixed before moving up. I'm actually enjoying the 1/2 crowd there a lot, a lot of tremendous players that are great to talk to and more donks, without some of the negativity from some of the 1/2 players elsewhere. In fact I can't think of one that's bothered me at all there.

I was going to do the long haul back up to spot 4 in the morning but that'd leave me with about 3 hours sleep so I'll do spot 3 again since their high hand promo runs a little later. Plus I just had such a good time there tonight.

Lets fix up those leaks now so we aren't relying on an AA bailout this time, egger. COMMON.

Just joined the gym near spot #3 now that I am pot committed to them BUT I can go to a Planet Fitness anywhere I DAMN WELL PLEASE.

It is fucking ON.

Donkey Kong and shizznit, I mean DAMN.

Probably better to stay at 1-2 for a while. Your time/high hand casino bonuses are not helped by higher limits. Plus there's probably more recreational easy going/there for fun people, at lower limit. Get a good couple of month of records before trying to move up.

Also I never quite understood how people count their mistakes in actual $ terms. I know that many do. To me almost all plays have relative positive and negative aspects. I mean unless you're accidentally folding your hand after all the betting is done:sparesomecutter:

Agreed on staying here for awhile but thanks for reinforcing that.the record keeping is helping a ton man, I wake up and look over each mistake and each difficult play I made.

Yeah I list why in the hands blog. I'll move the ones marked for analysis out here when I'm in front of a computer. Things like betting into made hands, unnecessary reraises, etc. "leaks".

+$130 on the day, about what's expected on the average at this level. I see $125 in leaks which I'm not thrilled with. Only semibluff if you're drawing on the nuts, hi durr  Fok. Still, had a fun day and glad I got that workout in before playing, doing that every time now. Spot #3 tomorrow, high hands 4 to midnight. Gotta get one and get in their drawing for big money! Saw some guy win like 80k on the bad beat jackpot, I think the whole table got something like $8k each. I love that the long ass hours I put in betters my chances at things like that.

The goal tomorrow is no bad plays/leaks!

Maybe I'll see that goddess dealer girl again. I think my next move is going to tip her $5 and say "here you're doing a great job. Go buy yourself some Boones Farm or whatever the fuck you're into" and see what she thinks of the table laughing at that.:blushing:

Left spot 1 up $397, you know the deal telling you guys that to hold myself in check at spot 3. Was almost $150 more as I had the high hand in a bonus period with 5 minutes to go before it would have held but it got smoked not once but actually twice, lol. I really felt like that was going to be my money but if you're going to let something like that tilt you you should not be doing this.

I feel like my mind is almost recovered from that hit at 2/5 the other night, I'm doing almost everything right. Worked out again and the only beer is one with dinner which let me tell you I enjoy the fuck out of. No bad plays so far.

Hope everyone's having a good one.

I've made a goal for moving back up to 1/3 that I consider to be reasonable - both game and roll have to be cleaned up and then some.

So we'll see how that goes then.
