Gotta say, I don't know about Archie but I would have had no idea that would hurt Cami's feelings. I still don't understand why it would. My expectation would be more like hey, that's pretty good. Because it is. It's edgy - it's got style. Hints of Bukowski. Nicely done. I'd like to read more.

I dunno. That's how the people I know in long-term relationships act. Kinda supportive. Presumably they already know each other pretty well. Lord knows Rubyn took Bread's gonzo posting at gamelive in good humor.

My first impression: Archie copying that post was a bit of a tribute. Maybe his intentions were nastier - I don't know. I am not psychic about Archie's mental state any more than cami's - but fuck it: the post was some pleasant nostalgia. He resurrected something that is not only good - it's gamelive. It is an embodiment of the forum. It is what gamelive needs more of. If anyone can't see that - and this applies to everyone - you are at the wrong place.

I'll never forget the first time Cami and I got it on. All my work equipment was at the old place so I had to come up late. I remember it like it was yesterday, I was on fb telling Rogie I was thinking of heading up to sleep with her for the first time. We had resurrected old feelings through Skype etc. and we were both boiling the fuck over in passion. I had this shitty route up here because my GPS was a piece of shit - and it still is but I paid way too much for it so I insist on using that FUCKER, it was so foggy and dark with these windy ass roads. I pulled up and she was waiting for me, she had the most beautiful smile I've ever seen as she slowly walked backwards motioning with her finger for me to come in as the moon sparkled off of her heavenly eyes. We hadn't actually seen each other in a long time and we laughed about how nervous we both were. We put on a movie and got some food from the bar which in retrospect is cool because we are there all the time now, she's on the pool team and we hang out with them. We got drunk quickly to calm the nerves down or as hindsight will have shown us now nerves don't matter - when we have time to, we're getting drunk. After awhile the movie didn't matter and we made love for the first time, and I knew my life would never be the same. It was perfect as I entered her world of beauty, like an explorer finding heaven all to himself for the very first time. We kissed so deeply and flowed together like two two beings so perfectly and fluidly fitting into one and we both came at the exact same time; nothing else in the world except the two of us in the hottest, steamiest cloud of sweat covered passion ever to exist melting into each other. Since that night we have been down so many roads together that I fear nothing with her by my side and welcome each and every story that life provides us - with her by my side they are all gifts that we share and I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to say that.

Then we had some vodka and beer, smoked a little I woke up it was time to hit the road so I went home.
 
Very touching story Bacon and glad you have that someone special!

Probably few (especially the younger posters) who know this tune ....... but this one picks my spirit up ........ helps me to try to look to the future ...... and not past! Probably need to listen to it more than I do ...... good version here .....
