Fischy I'm in.

OK the trick was this. Keep in mind this is when technology sucked and my brother was probably 11.

They gave me instructions first and I practiced a few times.

So I call him in and tell him that I found this video tape that turns my tv into a photocopier. He's like, no way! So I have the tape cued up to right moment and put a dollar bill on the tv screen. It beeps three times, I pretend to hit a button on the screen and it says "about to copy, do not touch screen." It flashes and I pull it away and there is the dollar bill copied on the tv screen.

then i say let me try drawing something. they coached me on a very simple drawing. I make it on paper in front of him. put it on screen. hit button. "about to copy. do not touch screen." flash. viola...drawing on screen. He's amazed.

So then i wonder out loud what would happen if i touch the screen? He says no don't! I say, what's the worst that could happen? I put my hand on screen. hit button. "about to copy. do not touch screen." flash.

all of a sudden the screen starts going apeshit. god awful sounds and shrieks. meanwhile i'm trying to pull my hand off the screen and screaming in agony. omg the look on his face.

Then after about 10 seconds or so i pry my hand free and fall back on the bed screaming in pain. on the tv is the copy of my hand and it looks radioactive, and the screen is still going crazy and starts to melt. he started bawling and ran out my room crying.

man that was fun.

Basically Avon is a multie-level marketing system. the difference is with Avon they set it up to help out their associate and put and priority on their products. However it is also designed to encourage others to start their own franchise as well which come in under the person who signs them up and then they recieve a profit share off of them.

It's legal and it is designed to suceed but essentially it is still a pryamid multi-level marketing business.

i thought that was a long post about our new pyramid scheme and how to get it off the ground. then i started reading, realized it wasnt, and got disappointed. then i read all of it and laughed, reminiscing on all the good tricks i pulled on my little brother back in the day. :wally:

Wal, you're signing up to be an Avon rep? Congratulations. I think you'll be great.
