It was less plasticky and filmy after the thing was peeled off.

The pickers that we drive at work have clipboards zip-tied to the frontal grid. We don't install them ourselves; maintenance does it.

They leave the plastic on the clipboards.

I tried to remove the plastic but it's not easy because how do you get behind? It's zip-tied and tight-pressed to the grid.

You can peel off the front without too much trouble but then you get a ragged effect. These clipboards are clear so you can still see the mayhem going on behind. I imagine I could get the plastic clean off but it would be an operation.

I know it's not electonics but dammit, it's definitely plasticky and filmy.

That's a hostile work environment. Talk to HR.

Apparently MrX has it set up to receive alerts for this topic.

My wee electric guitar business has been taking off and I do a lot of repair work. I’d say a good 15-20% of all used instruments out there still have at least least one piece of dusty, yellow, peeling-at-the-edges plastic film still hanging on for dear life.

Would a reasonable person ask for permission before pulling those? Maybe.

Am I a reasonable person when it comes to plastic film?

Just discovered that our oven had the plastic film still on the bottom quarter. Never noticed it before.

I'm disappointed in everyone.
