This sort of dystopian world where people get their work life "severed" from their outside-work life. It sounds dreadful until you watch it. It's really well done. I'd call it one of the better shows of the last 25 years. You should watch it.

wow I’m surprised you like S2 a little better than S1

I liked S1 a lot more. S2 had like 1 painfully bad episode. You know the one.

Amazing show, nonetheless, for all the reasons you mentioned.

I didn't mind the Cobel flashback episode. It completed the picture of her character and explained why she kept close tabs on Mark. Its placement in the season was a bit odd but whatever.

I found Season 2 more emotionally engaging. A lot of Season 1 was perplexing, until the last few episodes. Both were excellent overall.
