Yeah you can find anything even Ducati's but I don't want to spend much for something I don't how short I will use. I have a flyer for a ghetto chinese for $400 zero km. I bought a chinese android for $5 today, ghetto chinese is awesome.

Rode my hog for a good amount the other day when it was nice weather.

Had a blast. It was very exhilarating hauling ass down Queens Boulevard.

Did my own valve clearance adjustment over the weekend, then I synced my 4 carbs.

I feel like a champ.

Nice, Matty. Did you notice any performance boost from syncing the carbs? I think I need to sync my throttle bodies.

Yah, it made a big difference in the low end - I thought my bike was gutless below 4k but it was the carbs that were badly out of sync. It feels and sounds like a totally different bike now. Insta-torque from a complete stop.

One thing that bothers me is the new ticking sound I get from the top end since I adjusted the valves. Tappy valves are happy valves they say, but I'm worried that mine are a bit too happy.

Is there a bike doctor in the crowd?

My grandma is kicking it out of her garage and I barely ever ride it.

That certainly sounds very tappy.

Dunno, I draw the maintenance line at checking my own valve clearance.

I fixed my tappy valve, but then I reinstalled the valve cover gasket a bit crooked and it took me a couple miles to realize that oil was literally squirting out the top end. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Had to ditch the leaky, smoky bike on a busy street and walk the rest of the way to work.

Gasket was ruined so I had to buy yet another one. I'm on my third $60 gasket in as many months.

I'm a terrible mechanic.
