I also receive a $1000 bonus after I hit the 6 month mark. A sign-up bonus I guess you'd call it. That was part of the deal. That will also come in December.

I should hit my annual service bonus hours next week which is 1800 hours billed and a weeks pay. Thats always nice. Last week i got thanksgiving pay despite being ineligible for it. you have to bill 1000 hours in the 6 months proceeding the holiday. if youre limited to 40hr weeks that amounts to not billing 40hrs in 6mo.

my wifes firm is going to pay bonuses in jan where they usually pay in dec. take advantage of any trump tax cuts in 2017.

With my previous employer, we maybe got a $50 Walmart gift card. I like my current situation better.

Yesterday, every employee was given a nice crisp hundred dollar bill. We met some company-wide weekly sales target.

It doesn't happen often and now the target goal goes up even higher - but OK.

Work just got nuts. Opportunity came up and I took it.

This week I got certified on the cherry picker and picked my first few batches and it looks like that will be my new gig. Picker.

Not necessarily starting full-time right away but eventually, inevitably, yap. Picker.

I don't know if this sheds any light but it is an actual Uline location which would be the same as us. They show a picker from the 9 to 11 second mark.

Off to work. Two days to work this week. Today and tomorrow.

5:30 a.m. alarm clock set for tomorrow. 11 hour shift.



But it's only a 4 day week and then a full week off.

I'm on a four day week too then back to normal. I am losin two of properties today...small ones that hardly required much time. I will be receiving two large ones an possibly a third small one to replace them. My work load is about to massively increase. And I'm ok with that.

Nothing super exciting. Accounting. I have 12 properties I am in charge of doing the accounts payable for. My company owns and manages/accounts for hotels. Both nationally and internationally.

I'm glad you are enjoying your new job Muddy. Those cherry picker units look interesting. Looks like it would be a challenge to learn to drive, based on that video.

I am certified to operate all of the scissor lifts and the zoom type lifts up to 80'.

I started back to work a bit today. I got paid 5 hours pay this morning to learn how to rescue people from the roof of the Air Canada Centre. Very cool. In the afternoon I got paid 8 hours to teach people how to work safely in the roof of the ACC. Yaaay Safety.

So I accidently said something out loud to my boss I wasn't supposed to necessarily...
We have this lady that reviews everything for big checks before they get signed by the bossman. She's epically annoying as she picks at everything...even items we've been doing a certain way or checks we've been sending to certain places for a long time...like for years. Then she comes and interrupts Everything you're doing and wants to question an argue over the shit. Today my boss told me don't take them to her just go ahead and take the checks directly to bondsman for signatures.
My dumb ass blurts out "that's fine she's a pain in the ass anyways "
