Wally, the rural areas of Alabama and Mississippi are extremely poor areas.
 
Ficshy, I live in the Gainesville area.

The high from golf quickly countered by the misfortune of the casino.

At dinner tonight I ordered the tomato and onion antre/salad. I don't know how the area can be so poor when they get $10 for, not a whole tomato mind you, three SLICES of a tomato and one slice of onion. I would have needed a second morgage had I ordered crutons.

Nina,good call reminding us bout' Elvis being born here. I sometimes forget he wasn't born in Memphis. While Mississippi might only have gambling, Elvis and the Mannings going for them they still have no reason to charge $40 for a tomato.

Speaking of Mannings, Archie was on the practice tee with me this morning. Approachable enough, till I tried to explain that he had a hitch at the top of his swing.
