It sounds pretty good Plommer. Take the winter off. Pick up a hobby :dunno:

Reno, it is good for me pal.

I can live on $468 a week no problem, in the Toronto area.

I worked hard out west and don't feel at all obligated to work such long hours with no time to enjoy life.

I will sleep in, stay up late, fuck around, gamble, party and do whatever else I feel like doing all winter long.

Once the claim nears its end I will look for a re-training program sponsored by the employment insurance program.

Is there just more work in the summer? I'd probably rather have the summers off than winters...

Out west its busy year round, except for a few weeks during the spring when most of places shut down as municipalities issue "road bans" that prohibit large vehicles from operating on many of the local roads due to melting frost and snow and the damage trucks can do to a soft road in springtime.

Summer is busier than winter only because there is more active construction work.

Plommer, please come clean and tell us you are just busting our collective balls here.

Living off the Government tit at the expense of those who are working and paying for fully capable people to take advantage of the system is beyond pathetic.

Plommer, if you are gonna live off the sweat of others at least employ them.

Wal, you've been brainwashed pal.

There are those that give and those that take. I am now a taker.

Wal, if the Canadian government did not want to give me this money they would have made it more difficult to get.

Canada has lots of money. Lots.

common.

I see people on the take all the time Plommer. Food stamps, disability, workers comp, unemployment and no problem with those truly in need but way too often it is someone who is just too fucking lazy to earn their keep.

I could draw disability now and be set but there is noway I could in good conscience allow that to happen.

I like ya Plommer so in my mind you are just joking.

Plommer has earned a long vacation. He's bused around thousands of people to their important businesses and what not.

Unlike me. All I ever do is try to take a few bucks from a casino.

Plommy, you need to retire in TBay. This is what a lot of the guys do but I really can't remember what industry it's in... maybe the mill?

Bust their plums for however many months and then collect pogey (lol tbay word maybe?) for however long until it's time to go back again.

I actually have no problem with that...they're doing jobs most of us wouldn't want to do because of the monotony and/or remoteness and they're also paying into the system the whole time whilst working. The difference between Canada and Oz is that you'd get $500 a fortnight but you'd get it until you hit the OAP scheme.

Dem wud be dole bludgers :robynballs:

Pogey, that's correct.

I know quite a few people that work 8-10 months of the year and collect pogey in the off season.
