Awwww. He's always such a negative Nelly but it turns out he has really admired me this whole time. If only he could have gotten in touch with his true feelings and expressed them in a nurturing way, things could have been so different.

That's what I'm saying. He has loved me all along. He's been like a schoolboy with a crush but he is confused about how to express it so he ends up trying to dip my ponytails in the inkwell.
