I remember when RadioShack sold Tandy computers.

I always went there to get weird audio adapters and cables in the early 90's. They should've focused on niche stuff like that instead of trying to be a poor man's Best Buy.

I found it maybe a hair too intense.

LOL! MrsM loved going to RS for special batteries and odd sort items though on the regular bigger ticket things they were way over priced what little they offered! Kinda like the local hardware stores put out of business by the big guys! :sad:

Getting rid of pennies is one of my proudest moments as a Canadian. I'd been calling for it for years. Useless fokking pennies.

Brick & mortar as a whole is struggling bad. People are buying on Amazon and DoorDash and staying home.

I expect a significant percentage of my bike dealers to go under this winter. It's really really bad. Consumers don't give a shit.

Early 70’s Radio Shack had loyalty cards,you got 1 free battery per month.They owned the electronic space when I was a kid,best computers,radios,remote control toys,how the mighty have fallen.Probably be a good business case study.
